Montreal, a city of contrasts

On November 16th after visiting the 'Sucrerie de la Montagne' we attended a guided tour of Montreal. It is a beautiful city full of contrasts where we can find ancient buildings built by the first European settlers in North America as well as amazing skyscrapers.

Montreal is considered the cultural capital of Canada. It is located in the French speaking province, Quebec.

The Cathedral of Notre Dame in Montreal, one of the most outstanding art works in Canada.

Skyscraper in Montreal.

A goverment office building. Notice there are a lot of glass windows to allow nature sunlight to enter the building. So  civil servants can work in a more comfortable environment.
